Officials of the Municipality of Sibonga, led by Mayor Caroline S. Bacaltos, paid a courtesy call on Gov. Pamela S. Baricuatro with Assistant Provincial Administrator Aldwin Empaces to discuss infrastructure priorities and development initiatives for the municipality last Sept. 14.

The meeting provided an opportunity for the Sibonga officials and the Governor to discuss the town’s needs and areas where coordination between the Municipal Government and the Cebu Provincial Government can help move priority projects forward.

The Province has previously supported several infrastructure initiatives in Sibonga, including funding for local access roads, community facilities and other development projects.

For Gov. Pam, regular dialogue with Cebu’s local government units helps ensure that Provincial Government support remains responsive to the actual priorities and needs of communities.

Through continued coordination with Sibonga and other LGUs, the Province continues working toward infrastructure and development that directly benefit Cebuano communities. 💜
