Gov. Pamela Baricuatro joined PBA legend and former Philippine Sports Commission commissioner Ramon “El Presidente” Fernandez for the ceremonial toss that officially opened the Governor’s Cup U-18 Basketball Tournament at the Mandaue City Sports Complex.

Joining them were Mandaue City Mayor Jonkie Ouano and Cebu Provincial Sports Commission Chairman Dr. Rhoel Dejaño.

Organized by the Cebu Provincial Sports Commission, the Governor’s Cup is part of the Province’s grassroots sports program—giving young Cebuanos opportunities to compete, develop their talents, build discipline and teamwork, and grow through sports.

For Gov. Pam, investing in Cebu’s youth also means giving them spaces where their energy, talent and potential can become something positive. 🏀
