Gov. Pamela Baricuatro welcomed a team from the Department of National Defense (DND), led by Commander Errol dela Cruz, during a courtesy visit to the Cebu Provincial Capitol.

The meeting included discussions on preparations for the upcoming ASEAN Ministerial Meetings, scheduled on October 27 to 30, 2026, at the Mactan Expo Center in Lapu-Lapu City.

Joining Gov. Pam in welcoming the DND delegation was her Chief of Staff, Charlton James Canoy.

With Cebu once again preparing to host an important international gathering, the Provincial Government continues to coordinate with national government agencies and other partners to help ensure a safe, organized, and successful hosting of ASEAN delegates and guests.
