Gov. Pamela Baricuatro joined members of the Provincial Board, Capitol department heads, and representatives of national government agencies during Monday’s flag-raising ceremony at the Cebu Provincial Capitol, marking the local launch of “𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗴 𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗼: 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗶𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗟𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘁.”
𝗚𝗼𝘃. 𝗣𝗮𝗺 and 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝘆. 𝗝𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗚𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘀 of the Presidential Management Staff jointly served as 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝗴-𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆.
Organized by the Office of the President in celebration of the 69th birthday of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., the nationwide service caravan brings government assistance directly to communities.
Through the caravan, Cebuanos can access various services, including free medical checkups, financial and social welfare assistance, educational support, employment registration, agricultural assistance, and other government programs.
Participating frontline agencies include the DSWD, DOLE, DOH, DA, NIA, TESDA, DTI, PhilHealth, PSA, DMW, PhilPost, DepEd, CHED, DAR, DILG, DOJ, BFP, National Housing Authority, and other government offices.
For Gov. Pam, partnerships between the Provincial Government and national agencies help make public service more accessible—bringing government programs closer to the Cebuanos who need them most.
